Hello fellow adventurers! It’s been a while, but I am back. And I am excited to take you on my next big journey with me. It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost nine months since I’ve been on the road. But here we are, ready to start a brand new adventure! And this time I’m going to have some special guests with me.
My Mom And My Sisters
At the beginning of my journey, I will be having a couple of guest stars. My mom Gail, and my two older sisters, Angie and Jennie. I’m thrilled to show them Europe and watch them augle at the beauty surrounding them.
As usual, we will start in Paris. I usually start here because it’s cheap to fly into from the US, and I love Paris. My mom and dad joined me a few years ago, and my mom loved it. So, I’m excited to show my sisters one of my favorite cities in the world. And they will also get to see my good friend Berty again, who came to visit us in Minneapolis in 2019.
I let you all decide where we would head next, and you all picked Santorini and the biggest of the Greek islands, Crete. I have been to Santorini before, but I’ve never been to Crete. I can’t wait to explore this giant island with my family. So, follow me on Instagram and Facebook to take part and choose what we do and enjoy live content and beautiful photos.
The Next New Adventure On My Own
I will be with my family for two weeks before I send them on their way. Then I will be exploring the rest of Crete on my own. And do I have some excellent spots that I think you will enjoy reading about. I’m staying in a bus converted to an Airbnb, a treehouse, and the capital city, Heraklion.
From there, I MIGHT be heading to Spain to meet my friends from Israel whom I met in Santorini last year. This is a MIGHT because I will be going to college in Prague this fall, if you don’t know. So because there is a chance I will have to come back to the states to get my Visa, I might have to miss my new adventure in Barcelona and Sitges. But, it will be worth it to live in Europe for the next three years. And thankfully, the Israeli boys said they would visit me somewhere else if I couldn’t make it.
A New Adventure In Prague
As I said, I will be attending school in Prague this Fall. I’m going to be getting a business degree with an emphasis on entrepreneurship. When I was younger, I was convinced I would be an actor for the rest of my life, so I skipped the whole degree thing and moved to NYC and went to an acting conservatory instead. While I had some success as an actor, it wore me out in my late twenties. Long story short (too late), I’m heading back to school at 42.
I want to go back to school to start a travel business offering affordable tours throughout Europe, focusing on local hot spots. So if we’re in Paris, I’m going to take you to the Eiffel Tower, but I’m also going to take you to the cool little place you might not have read about. While I think this is a good idea, I need a little help on the business side things.
The best part about this new adventure in Prague is that I’ll be in Europe! So there will be weekend trips where you choose where I go can still happen. I can also have you choose some local adventures as well. I’ve felt a little unmotivated in Minnesota the past few months, so I’m excited to get You Choose My Adventure going again and bring you along with me.
Let The New Adventure Begin
I leave for NYC next Thursday, so where should we go next? I want to start using video a little more for this blog. I have all this equipment, and I barely used it last year. My camera was literally created for making content. So, NYC will be a great place to start since I know it so well. I already know I will be spending part of my day in Central Park. But I have two ideas for fun videos that I could put together.
The first is New York in a day, how to see all the most iconic sites of New York City when you are strapped for time. Or I could put together a video of all the famous TV and Movie sites. I used to take friends on this little tour all the time. Highlights were Ghostbusters firehouse and Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment. Vote below and let me know what you would like to watch. And I can’t WAIT to take you on this next adventure. Because, as I always say, it’s not just my adventure. It’s OUR adventure.
