So next week, I head to Prague, so I was looking up where I could take a little getaway, and I found Brno and Telc. Two very different cities that are a little less traveled in the Chez Republic. One is the second-largest city in the Czech Republic, and one is a city of about 5,000. So, where should we head next? Read below to hear more about these two very different cities.
Brno
Brno is the second-largest city in the Czech Republic and less explored than Prague. But this city is said to be beautiful and also has a little bit of a kooky side. Of course, it has beautiful churches and even a castle that is worth seeing. But, this little, big city has mummies, old underground tunnels to explore, and the hall of skeletons. It’s just the right amount of beauty mixed with the right amount of weirdness. So, will you send me to Brno or Telc might be more interesting to you?
Telc
The small town of Telc might not have as many things to do as Brno, but full of beauty. It is actually a world heritage site because of how well-preserved buildings are. This city also has amazing churches and a castle to explore, just on a smaller scale. There are also underground tunnels, a short hike to Church of the Mother God that is supposed to be great, and its own version of “The Painted Ladies” of San Francisco. This might be a fun stop because it isn’t as explored.
Brno or Telc? Where Should We Go Next?
So which will it be? The second-largest city in the Czech Republic or the one in twelve certified heritage cities? I think both are interesting because they aren’t as explored, there could be many cool things to see and show to you. Vote below and let me know. Because it’s not just my adventure, but OUR adventure.
